Answer Note: This article contains information about how to modifying the registry. It is strongly recommend that you backup the registry before you modify it. We have multi-user Premium 2007 and no other users are accessing or even have Peachtree open when I receive this message. Thanks for your help, Paul. One of your computers or the Server is maintaining one or more file locks.

You can simply reboot each of your workstations that use Peachtree, as this should release the file locks. If the problem persists then shutdown / reboot the Server. If you cannot reboot the workstations, then use the Windows Task Manager and look under the Processes Tab. Locate and click on the file labeled w3dbsmgr.exe (Pervasive Database Manger) and then click on End Process. Repeat these steps on all Peachtree related computers. This file will be restarted when you reboot the computer next or you open Peachtree.
